黒木裕太

　父方の実家が椎葉村の栂尾神楽を代々継承しており、日本の伝統的なパフォーミングアートである神楽に触れて育つ。2015 年より、1998 年長野パラリンピック開会式、Wink の「淋しい熱帯魚」や「タケモトピアノ」をはじめとする CM や MV などの大ヒット振付家である、香瑠鼓氏に師事。彼女がプロデュースする即興集団『ApicupiA』に参加。舞台、CM、映画などに出演する一方、香瑠鼓氏が 1996 年より続けている障害のある方との WS にてファシリテーターも務める。

　平成 29 年度より 3 年連続、東京大学教育学部の授業「身体表現の実践」において、コンドルズ主宰の近藤良平氏の授業アシスタント、さらに東京大学主催ダンスワークショップ（池袋・サンシャイン水族館）講師を担当。老若男女・俳優・さまざまな障害のある人達など多様な人々が交わるワークショップを実施している。

　主な出演作品に、2017 年聴覚障害・小人症・視覚障害・健常の俳優たちによる手話ミュージカル「夏の夜の夢」（東京・あうるすぽっと）、2018 年インドネシア・ジョグジャカルタで行われた、日本・インドネシアの伝統音楽のコラボレーション「WHEN THE DIFFERENCES MEET」（国際交流基金アジアセンター助成公演）にて海外ソロパフォーマンスデビューを果たし新聞やネットニュースなど現地メディアに取り上げられる。2019 年若手コンテンポラリーダンサーの登竜門である、セッションハウス「シアター21 フェス Step Up」にて「アメンボと白鳥」を発表。2020 年 3 月にはセッションハウス主宰の伊藤直子氏から推薦を受けて【もう一度見たいダンス作品】の一つとして選出され、Revision 作品「クモと月」を発表し好評を博す。今最も活躍が期待される若手アーティストの一人。

Yuta Kuroki

Yuta Kuroki was born into a family that inherits the Japanese ‘Kagura’ (sacred music and dancing performed at shrines) from generation to generation. Since he was a child, he has been familiar with the Japanese ‘Kagura’, a traditional Japanese performing art. He began his career with a musical theatre company in Miyazaki when he was a university student. He quickly moved to perform on stage and got a chance to appear in several TV commercials and films in Japan.

He has also joined with “Apicupia”, a barrier-free improvisation company since 2016. “Apicupia” is organized by Kaoruco, a well-known choreographer in Japan. Kuroki also worked as an assistant instructor of Ryohei Kondo, who presides over the Condors, at the University of Tokyo in 2017/ 2018. Kuroki got involved in several dance workshops, such as Sunshine Aquarium in Ikebukuro organized by the University of Tokyo, and "Practice of physical expression" classes at the Faculty of Education, the University of Tokyo. He carries out workshops where diverse people meet, men and women of all ages, actors and people with various disabilities.

Kuroki has expanded his creative horizons by collaborating with people who have disabilities in the production of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in 2017, and in 2018 he was selected to represent Japan at the “When The Differences Meet”, a performance supported by the Japan Foundation Asia Center, with his solo piece in the section of traditional music and dance performance. He collaborated with musicians from Indonesia by using the traditional songs in Indonesia and created the performance by bringing the ideas from the Japanese ‘Kagura’ motif that have been passed down to the present day in Shiiba, his hometown in Japan.The performance was reported favourably in the local media.

In 2019, Kuroki created, "The Pond Skater and the Swan" in the series of "Theatre 21 Festival Step Up" at the Session House Kagurazaka, Tokyo, which is the gateway to young contemporary dancers. "The Pond Skater and the Swan" was recommended by Naoko Ito, who is the owner and the director with the theatre and was selected as the 10 best dance works, and he announced his revision work "The Spider and The Moon" in March 2020. His work, "The Spider and The Moon" received a favourable review from the audience. Kuroki is currently one of the most promising young artists in his field.
